Bharati is the founder and director of Chintan, tasked with leading the organization to making deep change in the way resources are distrbuted and used in India. She has studied history and international public policy at Delhi University and SAIS, Johns Hopkins University. In the ideal world, she would spend more time with her passions: the visual arts and the wilderness.

Chitra oversees several programmes, providing them with vision and guidance on technical issues and project management. She is also reponsible for the organisation's human resources and administration, making Chintan's diverse workplace happy and productive for all. With over 15 years of experience in management, she is driven by her deep commitment to environmental and social justice.

Ira Sahai heads fund raising at Chintan and drives new Partnerships . With a background in Economics, International Marketing and a passion for Photography she believes that everything can change with the right angle.

Saran assists the Director in day-to-day management of the organisation along with managing human resources and administration. She has over 10 years of experience in the field and a masters in business administration. Saran nurtures a deep interest in upcycling and fighting plastics, bringing these values to Chintan's work. 

Nisha is the Assistant Manager for MIS at Chintan, her works involve data research and analysis, MIS documentation and application development support. She has spent the last 8 years in the development sector and is always up for new challenges.

Hari handles procurement, quality control, infrastructure and assets monitoring for Chintan.  He started his career as a newspaper delivery boy 17 years ago and uses that experience to run processes that work. He holds a degree in English. 

Pooja  handles social media and communications at Chintan. She has completed her graduation in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and her post-graduation in Environment and Development from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She loves researching for new stories and different ways to make the planet more sustainable.

Anil coordinates Chintan's diverse range of data. With over 12 years of experience, he has been with Chintan since 2009. He has a bachelors in commerce from Delhi University and a diploma in computer applications. 

Snehlata, aka Suman, has been managing field operations for the No Child in Trash programme since 7 years, focussing her efforts towards helping girl children.

Shivam oversees the quality of  Chintan's waste management services. With a bachelors degree in Geography, Shivam is dedicated towards implementing zero-waste sustainable solutions to help Delhi breathe. 

Wasim works on the ground to ensure implementation of Chintan's waste management services. He has previously worked in other cities managaing waste, including Srinagar.

Tajuddin supervises implementation of Chintan's waste management services.  Starting out as a wastepicker more than 15 years ago, he now works with other wastepickers to help them secure green livelihoods. 

Rajneesh monitors operations in Chintan's No Child in Trash programme. With over 15 years of experience in managing field operations, he has a graduate degree in Humanities. 

Anju manages field operations for Chintan's No Child in Trash programme.  In particular, she helps build capacity for teachers. She has a masters degree in social work. 

Karan handles operations at Chintan's No Child in Trash programme, which fights child labour in the recycling sector.  With an experience of 11 years in programme management, he specialises in rural management.

A zoologist by education, Kuldeep has a deep interest in Social work. His hobbies are gardening, walking and Photography.

Deepak is highly motivated and goal driven natural resource management professional coupling practical experience with a master’s degree in botany and PG diploma in natural resource management. He is coordinating a waste management project in Uttarakhand.

Gaurav has been implementing field operations for the No Child in Trash programme since 9 years. His work is focussed around youth empowerment in learning centres.

With 3 years of experience in finance department, Raja is part of Chintan's finance team. He has bachelors in Commerce from LNMU University Bihar.

A sociologist by education, Raghu has interest in social work. He is working at Chintan  as assistant manager for a project in Uttarakhand. He loves strolling in the woods.

Usha manages field operations for the No Child in Trash programme, and has previously been a teacher  for 7 years. She focuses her work around health and hygiene, considering it critical part of education. 

Bharti coordinates teaching at our No Child in Trash learning centres. She has a bachelors degree in social services, and is certified in organisational management from the Tata Institue of Social Sciences.

Akhilesh has been associated with the organization since the past 2 years. He has studied till 10th. He enjoys socializing and learning new technology from his peers.

Ajay works in the organization as an office boy. He has studied till 10th Standard, after which he has been the sole breadwinner for his family. He likes to travel and know the city and also enjoys watching movies in his free time.
